Surrey police believe community members may have information on the death of a 33-year-old Newton woman that has not been shared with police, they said in a statement.
Amanpreet Kaur Bahia was found dead by family members on the morning of February 7, 2007, and on the one-year anniversary of her death, they are issuing a call to the community to come forward with any information.
Police stressed they often rely on community members to come forward with information on cases such as this.
Police have spoken with family members and have received full cooperation with them. Police do not currently have any suspects. The investigation remains open.
