There's a lot of money at stake in the Northern Gateway pipeline project, and it doesn't only belong to the company.
Tens of millions of dollars have been donated to conservation groups and initiatives in B-C, for everything from Earth Day celebrations to aboriginal salmon recovery programs.
Now, Enbridge wants to know who those opposition funders are -- and so has asked the environmental review panel examining the project to compel the information.
The panel returns to B-C this week for final hearings on the controversial project.
