Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson was challenged to join Vancouver's infamous green men duo during April 27th declaration of Canucks Day.
The green men, who are known for their stadium antics challenged the mayor to think green.
"I think it'd be sweet," said one Canucks fan about Robertson turning the green duo into a trio. "Show your love for the city and pride."
The green men said they'd be thrilled to have the mayor join them for a game during round three if the Canucks manage to knock off Chicago.
"I'd have to think about that," Robertson laughed. "I might have other roles and responsibilities to conduct."
The declaration comes just days after the Canucks beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-2 in Game Two of the Stanley Cup playoffs on Sunday.
