Maverick MLA Bill Bennett will have to wait a little longer before learning if he'll be welcomed back into the BC Liberal fold.
Bennett has requested reinstatement to caucus, after he was turfed last year in a bitter dispute with Gordon Campbell.
The request wasn't on the agenda yesterday as premier-designate Christy Clark met for the first time with her new caucus -- using the opportunity to reveal Blair Lekstrom has returned to the party after quitting over the harmonized sales tax.
A decision on Bennett's future is expected after the next meeting of Liberal MLAs.
