A man charged with child pornography offences related to the alleged rape of a teenager at a Pitt Meadows rave two years ago has been denied a mistrial Wednesday.
Dennis Warrington was charged after three photos showing a man and a 16-year-old girl engaged in sexual activity were posted to his Facebook account the day after the rave on Sept. 10, 2010.
Police said as many as 12 people saw the attack.
Colton Ashton McMorris was charged with sexual assault and Warrington was charged with making and distributing child pornography.
One conviction has been handed down in connection with the incident.
A 17-year-old boy was sentenced to 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to one charge of distributing obscene material. The teen admitted that he took and shared photos of the alleged rape because he got caught up in the moment and didn't think his friends would believe what he'd seen.
