Three hikers who got lost on Grouse Mountain Thursday have been carried to safety on a long line hanging off a helicopter.
The trio got stranded in a canyon near Mosquito Creek, but none were injured or in any kind of medical distress.
Crews said the terrain was steep and difficult to access, but the managed to locate the hikers and get them off the mountain before sundown.
