One of the Vancouver Aquarium's rescued harbour porpoises has died.
The aquarium says staff noticed Jack's rambunctious spirit was absent on Tuesday and veterinary staff stepped in to provide care, but the porpoise died Thursday night.
A cause of death has not been released.
Jack was brought to the aquarium's Marine Mammal Rescue Centre in 2011 after he was found stranded and close to death in Horseshoe Bay.
