Ticket requests for the Vancouver 2010 Games are moving at an Olympic pace with just one day left to put in an order.
The Vancouver Organizing Committee says the ticket request volume has surpassed expectations and a lottery process will be needed for several sporting events that many people hope to see.
The committee's Caley Denton says 93 per cent of those requesting tickets are asking for more than one sport.
The most popular event requested is hockey and Denton says there will definitely have to be a lottery held for the gold medal hockey games.
He adds requests for figure skating, alpine skiing and the opening and closing ceremonies are also in high demand.
The ticket request deadline on the Vancouver 2010 website ends at midnight Pacific time Friday.
