Arthur Griffiths is so impatient to enter provincial politics in British Columbia, he's switching ridings in hopes of becoming MLA as soon as possible.
The former Vancouver Canucks owner says he will now seek the Liberal Party nomination in the Vancouver-Burrard riding as a replacement for Lorne Mayencourt, who has resigned to run federally.
Griffiths initially planned to run for the Liberals in the newly created Vancouver-West End riding. A provincial election is set for May, but a date for a by-election to replace Mayencourt has not been set.
