Hockey fans had to be faster than an NHL slapshot to score tickets for a Stanley Cup Final game between the Vancouver Canucks and the Boston Bruins.
One batch of remaining single-seat tickets at a price of $197 each sold out in just a few minutes today.
But T.C. Carling, the Canucks vice-president of communications, hints there may be more small batches of tickets available before the first game on Wednesday.
He's encouraging fans to check the Ticketmaster site to see if more tickets have been released.
Some ticket-reselling sites are offering seats for as much as $7,400 each if there's a game seven in Vancouver.
Fans who can't afford seats can soak up the action on giant TV screens set up in several B.C. cities including Vancouver and Surrey.
Have your say: Did you score a ticket today for the Cup playoffs? We'd like to hear from you...
