A man and a woman have died after a collision involving a motorcycle on Burrard Street Friday morning.
Police said a motorcycle was travelling south on Burrard Street when it collided with a car travelling eastbound on West 2nd Avenue at around 8 a.m.
Both riders of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, died from their injuries. Authorities have confirmed their identities, but have yet to contact their next of kin and will not be releasing their names.
The female driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
