Do you recognize this person? Suspect sought in Kamloops, B.C., armed robbery
Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Kamloops, B.C., days before Christmas.
Kamloops RCMP said the robbery was reported at a business in the 1300 block of Hillside Drive around 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 22.
Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said officers responded quickly and were able to arrest one suspect, who was already wanted on multiple warrants, but that one other suspect remains outstanding.
"Based on the investigation, police believe two people were involved," Evelyn said in a news release.
"We are releasing an image of the outstanding suspect to the public with the hope that someone will recognize him and contact the detachment as soon as possible."
Kamloops RCMP described the suspect as a man with a "fair complexion," who was wearing a dark shoes, black pants, a beige vest over a black hoodie, and a black hat with a white logo at the time of the incident.
He was also carrying a square sling bag and a blue duffle bag or backpack, the detachment said.
Authorities asked anyone with information on the suspect to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2024-41520.
