The infamous Cirque du Soleil and its acclaimed acrobats are back in Vancouver.
Cirque du Soleil's majestic 'Corteo' begins tonight under the blue and yellow tent at the Concord Pacific Place.
At a sneak peak Wednesday, artists performed their jaw-dropping and breathtaking choreography. The show is about a clown who imagines his own funeral in a carnival-like atmosphere.
Organizers say it's an experience like no other.
"If you love the performing arts, if you love to see people perform death defying acts, if you love music, if you love acting, if you love sports - if you're a gymnastics enthusiast in any way - you'll be blown away," says artistic director Gerard Theoret.
Corteo will be shown under the the Grand Chapiteau at Concord Pacific Place until July 20.
A final block of tickets will be released Saturday at 10 a.m.
