Vancouver Police have released photos of two men they believe may be responsible for a brazen jewellery store heist last month.
Police released grainy surveillance footage from a nearby store Wednesday in hopes someone may recognize the movement or gestures of the suspects.
The footage shows two men - one wearing a baseball cap - standing on Hastings Street just before the robbery.
Police say a third suspect, not seen in the video, was wearing a dark t-shirt with a full-face logo on the front.
The armed trio stormed into the downtown Birks store September 16, demanded all staff and customers to huddle together in a back room. No one was hurt, but police say the men made off with a large amount of expensive jewellery.
They believe the same trio may be responsible for a similar robbery in Burnaby.
