Littlest Acrobat -This little guy has been overwintering in my garden for three years now. I have two heating lamps pointing at the feeder almost giving me studio lighting plus I enabled the flash when taking these pictures. This little fellow lets me get up close and personal every time, like he knows I am the hand that feeds him. He has become like a pet to our family and we take good care of him. (Silke Soellig)

The Joys of Morning Exercise - Being a cyclist and runner, I love the early morning run and bicycle ride. I usually bring a camera or my phone with me. It's a magical time in our wonderful province. This is in Victoria! (Mike Phillips)

Candy Tuft Blooms - My photos are all taken in the rain, fog or in the dark. Unfortunately, I developed a severe light sensitivity about four years ago. Instead of letting it run my life, I've decided to make the most of it. It's been very rewarding seeing the world in a different light.

Sandstone Formations - A highlight of my trip to Hornby Island was seeing the sandstone formations at Ford's Cove. From a distance they didn't look like much, but up close the intricate patterns were endlessly fascinating. (Ly Son Le)

Sea lions at Fraser River - We went out on a Sea lion Safari from Steveston Harbour in Richmond, B.C. Stellar and California sea lions are here from April to May to feast on Herrings and Eulachans coming back to the river to spawn. (Lanie Man)

Sunset whips - My 16-year-old daughter and I were in Esquimalt on Sunday and she suggested we go to Saxe Point Park. I had my two five-foot performance whips with me and she ended up taking this wonderful shot with the beautiful sunset in the background on my iPhone. (Anke Zimmerman)
