Residents of three B.C. communities should check their lottery tickets following the most-recent $30-million Lotto Max draw.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation says the winning ticket in yesterday's draw was purchased in the Fraser Valley city of Abbotsford.

Also lucky were individuals who bought tickets in the Okanagan city of Vernon and the Vancouver Island town of Comox.

The holder or holders of those tickets are $141,026 richer after matching six of the seven winning numbers.

The last Lotto Max big-money winner from B.C. was Atlin resident Steve Murphy who walked away with $16,666,666.

So far this year, residents of Langley and Victoria have also won $1-million prizes.
