Police have released the names of two men killed at a Langley home early Saturday morning, but say they are still working to confirm the motive behind the double homicide.

Gordon Spencer, 27, and Bruce Mayo, 25, were found suffering from gunshot wounds at a home in the 6400-block of Glover Road at around 2:30 a.m. in an incident initially reported as a domestic dispute.

One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other died of his injuries later in hospital. Their next of kin have been notified.

Sgt. Jennifer Pound of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed that four men and one woman ranging in ages from 17 to 22 were arrested at the scene and taken for questioning, but each has been released without charges.

Neither of the victims lived at the home, which police said was heavily doused with bear spray when they arrived.
