Police say a man who was shot in the leg early Friday morning near Vancouver City Hall is not cooperating with authorities.
The victim, a man in his 30s who is known to police, was found inside a suite in the 500-block of West 10th Avenue at around 6:30 a.m.
He was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Const. Lindsey Houghton said the victim has been uncooperative, and police have yet to identify a suspect or motive in the shooting.
The attack does appear to have been targeted, Houghton said.
