A tractor trailer hauling a section of the Evergreen Line’s concrete track crashed on a Highway 91 off-ramp Wednesday afternoon.
Mounties said the truck’s load shifted while it was approaching Highway 91A, sending the vehicle onto its side and blocking traffic.
No injuries have been reported, but officials expect the onramp to be closed until around 6 p.m.
A large crane was sent to the scene to right the vehicle.
The $1.4-billion Evergreen Line, which is currently under construction, will connect the Tri-Cities with the rest of the SkyTrain system.
The 11-kilometre project is scheduled to be completed by the end of Summer 2016.
