Three high school students in Kamloops, B.C., have been suspended following a vicious fight broadcast on YouTube, and school officials are promising to take more action.

The minute-long video shows dozens of teens standing by as three female students from South Kamloops Secondary School and Thompson Rivers Education Centre brawl during the noon hour on Tuesday.

The trio is seen exchanging blows before one falls to the ground. Two of the girls then repeatedly kick the victim while she lies on the ground before her assailants are pulled away.

The incident happened just a few blocks from South Kamloops Secondary. It was posted on the internet, but has since been taken down.

School district Supt. Terry Sullivan said the board is considering punishment for the person responsible for posting the video, which was labelled as "Taylor vs. Nicole Bitch Fight."

RCMP Sgt. Grant Learned said it would be difficult to pursue criminal charges since no formal complaint has been filed and those involved apparently agreed to take part.
