One man is in custody after a possible homicide in Langley, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
Police found the body of the victim, a man, in a home on the 19800-block of 69th Ave early Monday morning.
The 24-year-old suspect, who was travelling in a vehicle, was arrested in Aldergrove after a brief pursuit.
“Due to the quick response and close communications between the Langley RCMP and the Abbotsford police department the suspect was arrested and taken into custody less than two hours after the victim was located,” said Sgt. Jennifer Pound in a statement.
The suspect is known to police, but neither the suspect nor the victim’s name has been released.
