Port Coquitlam Mounties have taken the unusual step of releasing a sex assault suspect’s photo after his arrest in hopes of encouraging other potential asked victims to come forward.
Kevin Craig Thomas, a 38-year-old who also goes by the alias “BK,” has been charged with sex assault, drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, and three counts each of sexual touching of a person under the age of 16 years and uttering a threat.
The RCMP said the investigation is still ongoing, however.
“Through interviews, [Sex Crimes Unit] investigators believe there might be other victims and witnesses who have not spoken to police,” Cpl. Jamie Chung said in a statement.

Thomas is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
