Journalist Simi Sara will be filling the vacancy left in radio station CKNW's midday lineup since Christy Clark departed on a successful bid to become B.C.'s premier.
Province newspaper columnist Mike Smyth has been filling in for Clark since she announced her return to politics in 2010.
The Simi Sara Show will launch on Aug. 22, running from 12:30 p.m. to 3 on weekdays following the noon news and The Bill Good Show.
The Vancouver native has worked in print and television for various broadcasts, collecting two British Columbia Association of Broadcasters awards.
