The deaths of two women at home on Epsom Drive in Saanich are not considered suspicious, police have concluded after an investigation.
Saanich police and investigators from the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit concluded their investigation at 11:30 a.m. Friday. The B.C. Coroners Service is still investigating the women’s deaths.
Officers first responded to the home in the 3700-block of the road on Wednesday night. They found the bodies of two women -- one in her 80s and the other in her 50s -- both of whom were later determined to be “associated to the residence.”
Police said they could not offer additional information on the women’s identities or the cause of their deaths as the coroners service investigation is ongoing.
There is no apparent risk to the public, police said.
