Justin Beaver headliner in Brockville

Extended: 'Justin Beaver' at the Aquatarium in Brockvile 'Justin Beaver' is the newest attraction at Brockvile's Aquatarium. This rescue beaver makes his debut on Oct. 11th.

Brockville’s Aquatarium has a new star and his name is Justin Beaver.

Justin’s journey to Brockville started in a bathtub, through Parc Safari in Hemmingford, Quebec and finally to the Aquatarium.

The 2-year-old rodent was in rough condition when he was brought to Parc Safari after being rescued by wildlife officials from a home where he was confined to a bathtub.

Justin really didn’t fit in at the Quebec animal park and that’s when he was sent to Brockville and is now in good health.

"He's a very iconic Canadian symbol. It just made sense to have a beaver here with our otters. The bigger the better, everyone is having a great time with Justin.

He's definitely a sweetheart, he fits in really well with the rest of our animals and all of our staff", stated Jennipher Carter, Senior Aquarist in Brockville.

And Carter would only smile when questioned on whether the grand opening will include the music of another Canadian superstar,  Justin Bieber.

Justin Beaver- the attraction- opens Friday October 11th at the Brockville Aquatarium.
