A date for convicted serial killer Robert Pickton's trial on 20 first-degree murder charges is still undecided.

Crown and defence will return to a New Westminster courtroom on Monday to determine whether Pickton's next trial should begin before his first six convictions are appealed.

He will face another 20 counts of murder.

Pickton was convicted of second degree murder last month in the killing six women from the Downtown Eastside. He was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years.
