Sickening new details have emerged about the shooting death of Kuldeep Kaur Badyal, a 32-year-old Vancouver woman who was gunned down on Tuesday while vacationing in India.

Police in India's Punjab province said Friday they have arrested the woman's husband Manjit Badyal and two alleged accomplices in her shooting death.

CTV has learned that Kuldeep was headed to a temple for a wedding with a group of women friends when four men on motorcycles drove past them a couple of times.

One of the motorcyclists stopped and asked which one was Kuldeep. When she was identified, the motorcyclist pulled out a gun and shot her in the stomach

Meanwhile, it has emerged that Manjit Badyal is a taxi driver, who worked for Sunshine Taxi.

The couple had two sons aged nine and seven.

Kuldeep and her husband lived with his parents in Vancouver. The family went to India in January.

Kuldeep's mother is dead and her father lives in India. Members of her family say the couple fought because Kuldeep suspected that her husband was having several affairs.
