Next time someone tells you to get a life, call Ryan Daley.

The 36-year-old is selling his life on Craigslist for a cool million dollars.

"I'm selling my house, and my car is up for sale, so I thought I'd make it an interesting package," said Daley. "If someone gave me the money, I would release all my things and show them a cool way to live."

In the ad, Daley explains what the recipient of his new life would get, complete with photos.

The life includes a home in Garibaldi Highlands with a project studio for art and music, a 1990 Porsche 944 S2 and a garage filled with all the tools to take over Daley's job as a professional cabinet maker and builder.

Daley also offers a one month crash course on his life, which includes activities such as surfing and mountain biking, to help ease in the new owner.

Despite the extreme decision the Squamish man said he has no qualms about giving up all his worldly possessions to someone he doesn't know.

"We sell our homes to complete strangers all the time, regardless if we like them or not," said Daley. "I don't see how this is any different."

Daley's former mother-in-law said she was surprised to hear about the ad, and was skeptical anyone would put up the money.

"I don't think he has anything to sell that's worth one million dollars," said Elaine, who decided not give her last name.

Elaine may disagree when she takes a look at the ad.

Daley writes in the post: "If you're lucky, you might even get ex sex for a while (pics available upon serious inquiry)."

But he admits that may be a promise he won't be able to follow through on.

"I'm serious about everything, except the ex part. I'm not sure if I can arrange that," said Daley.

Daley said his extreme decision stems from wanting to get back to the basics.

"I want to focus on things like music, art, and surfing, things I really enjoy doing," said Daley.

The post has only been up for one day, but Daley has received offers, although none he deems serious.
