Kevin Charach
ContactKevin Charach joined CTV News Vancouver as a multi-skilled journalist in April 2022.
Born and raised in Richmond, Kevin graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Radio and Television Arts with the goal of one day working in television broadcasting back in his hometown.
After graduation, Kevin interned at several stations including CTV News Vancouver, before landing his first broadcasting job in Fort St. John.
Kevin spent two years in the Peace Country before heading south to the Okanagan, then worked for five years at CHEK News in Victoria.
Kevin has worked as a sports anchor, community reporter and news video journalist covering everything from NHL playoffs to provincial elections.
Some career highlights include interviewing Basketball Hall of Famer Steve Nash and covering the contentious "war in the woods" in Fairy Creek.
Eleven years after interning at CTV News Vancouver, Kevin’s journey has come full circle and he’s grateful for the opportunity to tell stories and make an impact in the community he grew up in.
