The legislature raid trial in Vancouver has been delayed again.

Judge Anne MacKenzie has excused the jury until Wednesday morning, telling them matters have arisen that she and counsel need to discuss.

Former ministerial aides Dave Basi and Bobby Virk are charged with fraud and breach of trust for allegedly leaking confidential government information in the 2003 sale of Crown-owned BC Rail.

Aneal Basi, Dave Basi's cousin and a former low level government communications worker, is accused of money laundering.

The trial began two weeks ago but the jury has only sat for three days because of various legal issues and illness by one of the accused last week.

The case made national headlines after RCMP showed up with a search warrant for the men's offices at the provincial legislature.
