What better way to spend Canada's birthday than to watch our men's Olympic gold medal hockey game again on a big screen?

To celebrate Canada Day, CTV will be replaying the historic match and holding many other exciting events at the Jack Poole Plaza outside of the new convention centre at Canada Place on July 1.

The festivities will begin at 10 a.m., and throughout the course of the day there will be lots of fun activities to take part in.

At the CTV Promotion Centre you can see if you have what it takes to be like a CTV Anchor, where you get to sit down and read an actual news broadcast that will be uploaded to the CTV British Columbia website. From there you'll be able to watch and send the video to all your friends and relatives around the world. You can also get your photo taken with your favourite CTV personalities.

Don't miss out on seeing the cauldron lit for the first time since the Olympics ended. With the chain-link fence taken down and new viewing areas, you'll have the chance to see it like never before -- and only for one day.

On the CTV Video Board you can relive Sidney Crosby's victorious overtime goal when the hockey game is shown at 3:15 p.m.

Following the game you can watch CTV News at Five and Six broadcast live from the Jack Poole Plaza.

The day will end with a massive fireworks show at 10 p.m. at Canada Place.

Last year an estimated 175,000 showed up to wish our nation a happy birthday, and this year we're hoping even more of you will come out for the party!

P.S. Don't forget to bring your red Olympic mitts!
