Are you attractive and in good shape with an alluring personality? A local company is looking for a few good men to fill out a sexy new service.
Butlers in the Buff provides butlers to serve drinks and snacks, play games and greet guests at events – all while outfitted in nothing but a collar and “cheeky” apron.
Company CEO Jason Didcott founded this “male order company” in 2001 after serving 15 years in the British navy. The company’s roster across the pond has now grown to 500 semi-nude butlers, and there are also offices in Australia and Florida.
Jason’s wife Jennifer Didcott runs the Canadian branch that opened last year, and said the demand for butlers is high.
“Across Canada, we need 50 more butlers just to get through the summer,” she said. “We’re looking for charming, articulate guys, sort-of boy-next-door types.”
Emilio, a butler who works in the Lower Mainland, described what it takes to be a successful buff butler.
“You have to have that magnet with girls,” he said. “I have to be honest, they love me so I don’t complain.”
Didcott said many women are opting for sexy butlers over strippers for a more luxurious bachelorette or birthday party experience.
“We offer services that are not shocking or embarrassing…and they offer quite a nice view as well,” she said.
They can also help add sauciness to a simpler night out, she added – there is even a special Mother’s Day offer this Sunday.
Buff butlers are available for $95 per hour in Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Toronto.
