A 48-year-old woman has been released from hospital after a chilling attack in Vancouver’s busy Gastown neighbourhood Thursday night.
Police say a female suspect followed the woman on to Water Street from the Waterfront Skytrain Station, then tried to steal her purse.
The suspect then slashed the 48 year old during the struggle before running away.
The victim has since been released from hospital.
Police said they’ve obtained surveillance video and will now be attempting to identify a suspect.
