A pedestrian has been killed while crossing a busy street in East Vancouver.
Police say the unidentified woman died at the scene, after being hit on 41st Avenue near Kerr Street at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The driver of the car stayed with the victim.
Officers say the driver is co-operating and a cause of the collision is under investigation.
This is Vancouver's third pedestrian fatality of 2016.
