Fire investigators say an evening blaze that destroyed a pool house in Langley and killed one person does not appear suspicious.

Flames broke out at about nine o'clock last night at a home on 76B Cres. in a rural section of Langley and by the time firefighters arrived, the pool house was engulfed.

Crews managed to keep the flames from spreading to the attached house and two other people got out safely, but a body was found inside the pool house after the flames had been doused.

The name of the victim has not been released and a cause of the fire is still being determined.
