Vancouver Police have identified the man who was stabbed to death in a high-end Yaletown apartment Thursday morning.
Jeffrey Qi Feng Bian, a 28-year-old Vancouver resident, was found suffering from severe stab wounds inside an 18th floor suite at 1067 Marinaside Cresent, near the Vancouver seawall.
The victim was rushed to hospital, but died of his injuries hours after arriving.
Investigators say Bian was known to police.
Two women inside the suite were taken into police custody for questioning, but were released.
"They have been interviewed, they've cooperated fully and the investigation is proceeding," Const. Jana McGuinness said Thursday.
No arrests have been made, and police are not expecting any more updates until next week.
Bian's death was the 14th homicide in Vancouver in 2009.
