Warrant issued for high-risk sex offender
Vancouver police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a high risk sex offender with a history of convictions involving children.
James Leo Gracie, 51, is wanted for breaching his release conditions. Police believe he poses a risk of significant harm to children of both genders.
Gracie's history of sex-related crimes involved children both known and unknown to him, police say.
He is described as Caucasian, 6-1 tall, 170 lbs. with short brown hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo of a rattlesnake and "Slim Jim" on his right forearm and a heart with leaves on his left arm.
He also has a large scar on his right cheek and chin and a large bump on his forehead. He speaks in a French-Canadian accent.
Anyone who seems Gracie is asked to call 911 immediately.
