B.C.'s latest lotto millionaire says he'll be trading truck driving for driving golf balls.

Karl Hoolsema of Aldergrove is taking home $6.7 million, half of the $13.3 million jackpot from the Dec. 12 Lotto 6/49 draw, with the other half going to a Quebec resident.

Hoolsema says after checking his ticket he went home and asked his wife if she wanted to quit her job.

She laughed and asked him if he'd won the lottery and he told her he had.

Hoolsema is a truck driver for the Langley School District but says he and his wife will both be quitting their jobs.

As well as getting out on the golf course, Hoolsema says he plans to do more hunting and fishing.
