Three people are facing charges after two teenagers were stabbed outside a Vancouver SkyTrain station Sunday night.

The boy and girl, both 15 years old, are in stable condition..

Police were called to the Main Street-Science World station at Main Street and Terminal Avenue just before 6 p.m. where police said a fight occurred.

“The altercation was between the boy and the girl, and another group … it was a fairly large group that was involved in this fight,” said Sgt. Randy Fincham.

Amanda Andrade witnessed the altercation and said she saw two males yelling at a male and female and heard threats being exchanged.

“It started with yelling, then went to punching, then macing and stabbing,” she said.

She said she helped the injured female victim by giving her napkins to stop the bleeding.

Police said they are not sure who sprayed the pepper spray during the fight.

The teen boy received surgery for a serious slash wound to arm and the teen girl received treatment after being slashed in the neck, according to police.

Three suspects were arrested at 9:30 Sunday night.

Two 20-year-old men face aggravated assault charges and a 19-year-old woman faces a charge of obstruction.
