A number of scalpers are hawking tickets to Metallica’s upcoming charity show benefiting the Greater Vancouver Food Bank at 10 times face value.

Multiple posts have shown up on Craigslist offering tickets to the $5 show for a full $50, and at least one of the sellers neglects to mention that the performance will be repeatedly interrupted by a film crew shooting footage for the band’s upcoming 3D concert movie.

A message on the Metallica website advises there will be “lots of breaks” during the Monday night charity show while cameras and lights are repositioned, but asks fans to bear through the entire concert.

In return, they are promised a “full night of fun and games.”

Presale tickets for the show went on sale Friday morning, and the remaining tickets will be available on Sunday.

The concert will follow the heavy metal megastars’ Friday and Saturday night shows at Rogers Arena, tickets for which range from $66 to $144 including service charges
