Vancouver -

Police are investigating reports of a possible shooting in a residential part of Vancouver.

Vancouver police told CTV News Vancouver its officers were called at about 2:45 a.m. Monday about shots being fired near Cambie Street and 63rd Avenue.

One home and part of Ash Street was roped off behind police tape for almost 14 hours.

Bullet holes could be seen at the front of the property, even in the windows, and dozens of evidence markers were on the ground.

Neighbours, who asked not to be identified, told CTV News they were woken by the sound of gun fire.

They say police arrived on scene about 15 minutes later and officers came to their door to ask if anyone had been hit by a bullet.

Surveillance video from a nearby home captures the sound of multiple gun shots.

"We are continuing to investigate as we don’t have any victims or suspects as of yet," Vancouver police said in an emailed statement.
