Police are still searching for suspects in the stabbing death of 19-year-old Surrey resident Devon Allaire-Bell, and have released fresh surveillance images in a bid for new leads.

The images reveal a suspect group of five South Asian men headed toward Frank Hurt Secondary School on Easter Sunday, the night Allaire-Bell was accosted and stabbed to death.

Grainy security footage of the suspects had previously been released, but the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team offered the suspects and their families a chance to avoid having higher resolution images made public.

The men in the latest images are still difficult to identify, but police are asking the public to pay attention to the distinct appearances of two individuals.

One man in a white and black baseball cap is seen in a light-coloured shirt with writing on the back. Another has a unique haircut with the sides and back shaved and only a small amount of hair on top of his head.

Allaire-Bell was playing soccer with his friend Jack Nielson when they were accosted by a group of men and eventually stabbed.

IHIT says one or more of the suspects may have sustained injuries during the fight, and is calling on anyone who has "suspicion that someone they know may have had unexplained injuries around the time of the incident" to come forward.

Investigators have also released a map depicting the route the suspects took towards the school, beginning at King George Boulevard at 64th Avenue at 7:30 p.m. before entering the McDonalds on 72nd Avenue at 7:50.

They then headed northbound on 137th Street towards the high school. The 911 call reporting the stabbing came in at 8:36.

Anyone with information is asked to call the IHIT tip line at 1-877-551-IHIT or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
