Surrey Hospital Foundation

Surrey Hospital Foundation

Surrey Hospital Foundation is the largest non-government funder of health care for families in Surrey and surrounding Fraser Valley communities. For over 25 years we’ve made it our mission to help people in our community get the best possible care closer to home. We support the major health facilities in the region, Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC), as well as numerous specialized programs for newborns, children, adults and seniors.

Unlike many others in the region, the Surrey Campus cares for the whole family, from birth to end-of-life and everything in between.

As a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of British Columbia, Surrey Memorial houses one of the busiest children’s care centres in the province. As a LEED-certified facility, JPOCS is a groundbreaking medical centre for over 50 clinics and programs. In total, the Foundation supports a campus that includes 12 buildings with over 5,000 employees–a healthcare campus that touches the lives of thousands of patients every day.

Since 1992, the Foundation has raised over $135 million by inspiring and enabling our community to support innovative medicine and life-changing care.

We’re proud of our work but none of it could happen without the unwavering support of an incredible community.
