One of Hollywood's biggest stars was spied sprinting between cars in downtown Vancouver Friday night, filming a sequence for the upcoming fourth Mission Impossible movie.
Tom Cruise, who reprises his role as super spy Ethan Hunt in the film, was seen running outside of the new Vancouver Convention Centre on a set dressed to look like the streets of India.
Cruise's wife Katie Holmes was also spotted in the city on Friday, shopping at a Chapters bookstore with the couple's four-year-old daughter Suri.
The three previous Mission Impossible films combined grossed more than $1.3-billion worldwide.
The anticipated new sequel, titled Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, costars Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker) and Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead). It's currently scheduled to be released in Dec. 2011.
