Grilled rib-eye steak

Serves 2


  • 2 x 6 oz. Rib-Eye Steak
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • ½ tbsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 sprigs Thyme
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary
  • Fleur De Sel



Place all the ingredients into a bowl then add the steaks to marinate for about 2 hours. Preheat the grill on high.

Remove the steaks from the marinade and pat dry with a paper towel. Season with fleur de sel and transfer the steaks to the hot grill, leaving it to cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for (medium rare).

Remove the steaks from the grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Using a digital thermometer the internal temperature on a medium rare steak should be 125F.
