After a ground and air search Saturday, Delta Police Department have located a missing woman from an early-morning RV fire.

Police are releasing few details but say the woman is being treated for her injuries.

A passing motorist reported seeing a woman who appeared to have significant burn injuries to her face running out of the burning motorhome.

Two other people were inside the RV and are in hospital being treated for severe burns and are listed in critical but stable condition.

Police have been unable to speak to these victims.

The fire broke out at around 3 a.m. in the 10200-block of River Road in the parking lot of a gas station.

The woman was described as Caucasian, possibly in her 30s, very skinny with teeth in bad condition and about 5-feet tall. She was wearing pajama bottoms and a light-coloured tank top.

Police conducted a ground search and RCMP assisted with air support.

Poluice say that at the early stage of the investigation they are treating it as a crime scene to preserve evidence, but say neither the cause of the fire, nor the reason the motorhome was parked there, is known.
