Born and raised in Victoria, B.C., Reyhana moved to Vancouver to complete a Master's degree in journalism at the University of British Columbia. Since joining CTV in 2013 she has provided coverage on a wide array of stories including a provincial election, Northern Gateway pipeline protests and changing B.C. liquor laws.
Previously Reyhana worked as a editor and photographer at Monday Magazine in Victoria, a production intern at CBC Radio in Toronto and a senior writer and photographer at UBC student newspaper The Ubyssey. She was recognized at the 2014 Canadian Community Newspaper Awards for her feature story on LGBTQ university athletes and the 2015 John H. McDonald Awards for her story on gendered gyms.
Reyhana also has a bachelor's degree from the University of Victoria where she studied sociology and environmental studies.
As a freelance journalist Reyhana works in the documentary industry as well, producing content for international broadcast.
