Megan Stewart
May 2021 update: Megan Stewart is no longer with CTV News Vancouver.
Megan Stewart is a news producer and digital reporter based in Vancouver on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples.
She joined CTV News in 2019 after producing Breakfast Television at CityTV. She was part of the launch of Sportsnet 650 and, before that, covered civic affairs and politics for the Vancouver Courier, where she was brought on in 2010 to create the newspaper’s sports section.
While at the country’s oldest community newspaper, she initiated an extensive, award-winning series on the city’s neighbourhoods. She has covered multiple Olympic Games and and hopes to someday report at Tokyo 2020 (if it ever happens).
Megan holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of B.C. and is fluent in Spanish and French.
