B.C. Ferries is advising passengers that Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay sailings are delayed Saturday afternoon due to a medical emergency aboard the Spirit of British Columbia.
As a result, the vessel is 90 minutes behind schedule leading the cancellations of the 5 p.m. departure from Swartz Bay and the 7 p.m. departure from Tsawwassen.
Customers with reservations for the 5 p.m. Swartz Bay departure will be moved to the 7 p.m. sailing.
Those with reservations for the 7 p.m. Tsawwassen sailing will now leave at 9 p.m.
Passengers should arrive at least half and hour before sailing time.
The 9 p.m. sailing will leave Swartz Bay on time.
