Man known to police shot in Gastown

A 22-year-old man who is known to police is recovering after being shot in Gastown early Monday morning.
Police arrived on Abbott Street near Keefer Street shortly before 3 a.m.
Const. Brian Montague said the man was shot somewhere near that area. He was treated after apparently walking in to St. Paul’s Hospital after the shooting. He has since been released.
The victim is not cooperating with investigators.
Police remain at the scene trying to gather evidence and find potential witnesses.
